Aerosolv Aerosol Can Disposal System
Safe, convenient and compliant, Aerosolv provides an easy-to-use, effective method of relieving pressure in spent aerosol cans. It changes them from solid hazardous waste to a non-hazardous, fully recyclable state. Puncturing unit is made of low maintenance aircraft aluminum and threads into the 2" bung on a 55-gallon drum. Carbide tipped piercing pin withstands repeated use. Aerosolv Standard Disposal System includes puncturing unit with plastic sleeve, antistatic wire, goggles and coalescing/carbon filter. Super Disposal System includes the same items as the standard and also features the addition of lockout and shutoff mechanism that positively seals the unit and the drum when not in use, a padlock with key, PTFE coated body allowing for easier clean up, and a color changing combination coalescing/carbon filter which signals saturation and eliminates premature changing of upper activated carbon cartridge.
